Number of Adsense ads allowed per page

Adsense ads has very strict enforced program policies. If company find that your website is in violation of their terms of service, they will permanently disable your offending account. But Google don’t know you or hate you, if you do everything right, you will get some good adsense revenue.

Google Adsense Ads types:

  • Content Ads
  • Link Ads
  • Adsense For Search 

1. AdSense Content Ads <~

From August 2016, you can place unlimited amount of AdSense ads on a page whereas earlier it limits upto 3 ad units.
While you can place unlimited ads on your website but you need to maintain the quality of your site.
Key Points:
  • You can also use ads from multiple publisher IDs ie.. you can place adsense ads from different accounts.

2. Adsense Link Ads <~

AdSense Link ads perform really well when blended with your theme and placed above the fold. I tested this by placing one in the Navbar in our other blog and it turned out to be one of my good performing ad units.
Again, you can place unlimited ads as long as they are not exceeding the content/article.

3. AdSense For Search <~

It is good but we recommend it for high traffic websites having good speed servers. As there is no limit to place adsense ads but you need to think about your website layout also.
Some web layout can only effective for 2-3 ads some are for 5-6 and some are for nearly 10.

Also, remember by placing more ads, your long articles may look well but short articles page may look bad.

  • Combination of image+text adsense ads perform much better.
  • Placing adsense ads above the fold yields better results.
  • Sometimes 2 ad units perform better than 3 ad units.
